Hello all! We are stuck inside due to Blizzard snow conditions in the Washington, DC area. I thought I would catch up on some blogging and let our fans know what has been going on at Anna-Kate's Closet.

Last week, our window artist was in giving our store window a "face lift" in preparation for our new Spring 2010 inventory. If you are looking for a local artist to brighten up your childs room, she is the person for you. I can not tell you how many compliments we have received on our window displays since she began doing our windows this Fall. Remember the Fall theme with the black cat sitting on a pumpkin? And what about the Holiday Fairy holding a gift...I believe?

We are taking suggestions for our next window display. What should we do? Provide us with your comments and you could see your idea on our window!

Just A Day In Fashion

Yesterday we received some darling holiday outfits from our favorite designers, Luna Luna, Twirls & Twiggs and LeTop. It was perfect timing because my children were out of school and Anna-Kate's Closet is gearing up for an in-store drawing at the end of the month. We were in need of holiday photos to launch the promotion. Details will be in our next newsletter on October 23, 2009. Anna immediately wanted to be a "holiday princess" and selected this beautiful dress by LeTop to fulfill her fantasy. She definitely looks like a princess. She even got a kiss from her brother, the prince.

Growing Up Green - Newsletter Follow-up

Thank you to all my customers who commented on our new newsletter. We know that your time is valuable and are working hard to provide you with "fashion forward" and informative content. A few of you commented that the Anna-Kate blog had not been updated in almost a year! To that end, the blog is being updated TODAY!
